Civic engagement and digital participation
Alongside his professional work, Gianluca Busato has undertaken activities and responsibilities in civic movements. In March 2014 he conceived and organized the Veneto digital independence referendum and designed its electronic voting platform. This earlier work connected technology, civic participation, self-determination and the idea of a digital social contract.
