Gianluca Busato is an engineer, AI Systems Architect and technology entrepreneur. Alongside this professional path, he has undertaken activities and responsibilities in civic movements. His best-known civic initiative was the Veneto digital independence referendum held from 16 to 21 March 2014, which he conceived and organized, designing its electronic voting platform.
